We hit a deer just before St. Joe Missouri. There were actually 3 deer... I saw the first two, hit the brakes, and congratulated myself for missing them. Then, WHAM, a third deer hits us on the driver's side. I have no idea where that deer came from??? All things considered, we were lucky that was the deer that hit us. He broke the driver's side door and the driver had to crawl across through the passenger door the rest of the way to Texas. However.... if one of those other two had it the front of the car.... we'd be stranded in St. Joe, Missouri for quite awhile!
We got out of town just in time! This was the scene 1 day after we left!
