One of my friends, Cami, in my Moms Meetup Group lost her little girl this summer. She was bitten by a rattlesnake, well, actually a baby rattlesnake which is even worse than an adult rattlesnake.
Poor little Peyton fought for 4 hours and had several blood transfusions but, ultimately could not fight against the venom. She passed away August 11th and would've been 2 on September 1st.
The sadness throughout our club was unexplainable. Some of Cami's closest friends organized a bubble blowing memorial to remember Peyton. We all wore butterfly pins (Peyton loved butterflies) and one of the moms brought white flowers for all the members of the Moms Meetup Group. It was a very nice memorial in honor of Peyton's much too short life.
